With the game going into OVERTIME on Sunday afternoon, the
Celtics triumph in a 115-111 victory over the NY Knicks. The Celtics showed
their true potential tonight as Rondo faced off against Jeremy Lin.
Rondo posted yet another triple double and registered 17
rebounds, 20 assists, and 18 points. He did all this while containing Lin to
just 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 14 points. Lin also posted 6 Turnovers.
Pierce posted a game high of 34 points and hit clutch shots
down in crunch time. Bass and Garnett each chipped in 18 points to help out the
Celtics and Ray Allen added 12. All 5 starters went into double digits.
Anthony scored 25 for the Knicks and Amare posted a double
double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
This game had 5 ties and 7 lead changes that occurred down to
the final seconds. It also helped give Boston some self-esteem as they move
into the later part of the season trying to clinch a playoff spot.
