The Red Sox
are not shining like we are used to seeing this season. With a record of 12
wins and 18 losses, they sit in last place in the American League East
division. This is not what we are used to seeing and they need to turn around
and represent Boston like they have the last 100+ years. Their next series
starts tonight against Cleveland and we need nothing less than a W on the boards.

Celtics Vs. Hawks
“A loss in Game 5 to the Atlanta Hawks (2-3) has
left the Boston Celtics (3-2) with a second chance to close out their
first-round series. This time that opportunity will arrive in Boston.” Anyone
who watched the game on Tuesday night was out of their seats as Rondo tried to
rally back the troops and clinch the series. However it proved to much for the
Celtics as Josh Smith drained a few key shots to close the game.
Tonight however we are playing in our house and I want to clarify
that Rondo will have a triple double and the Hawks will be sent back to
Atlanta. Last time we played in Boston against the Hawks we won by 22 and
tonight I feel as If the game will be close and we will pull away by 3-7
points. Wear your jersey proud and GO GREEN!
3 Bruins Still Playing
So over the past few weeks I have depressing nights since
the Bruins lost and couldn’t find it in me to write about the game 7 loss to
Washington. Now that my wounds have healed I think I can finish off my last
Boston Bruins blog on the 2011-2012 seasons. So as everyone can imagine they
lost in the first round to the number 7 seed the Washington Capitals but enough
about that game. This blog we are going to talk about the 3 stars of the Bruins
that will be competing for their country in the coming world hockey cup
tournament. None of the players will be competing for team USA but as you can
imagine our captain and 6foot 9 defensemen Zdeno Chara will represent his
hometown of Slovakia. Chara with the fastest slap shot in the NHL will add
power to his team and came out victorious in the first round matchup. The
second big star from the bruins playing overseas in the world cup is the 6 foot
David Krejci who will represent the Czech Republic. His team who also competed Monday
afternoon came out victorious which show us that as long as you have a bruin on
the ice, you are bound to win. The final player selected by his home country is
our coming goal keeper Anton Khudobin which will represent Kazakhstan. His team
has yet to play but will hopefully come out on top in the first round. We can
keep cheering for them so let’s go Bruins!

Beard-A-Thon
With the playoff spot clinched for the Bruins, they have
decided to leave a few of their key player’s home while traveling for game 81
against the Senators. Zdeno Chara,
Patrice Bergeron, and Tim Thomas have been told to stay home and rest up before
the playoffs. Along with them, Johnny Boychuk who is injured will stay behind
with the veterans.
The Bruins finished the season as of today with a record of
47-29-4. They logged 98 points and allowed 2.44 goals a game while scoring 3.18
goals per game. With numbers being posted like that there is no doubt in my
mind that lord Stanley will stay in Boston for another year.
Let’s keep cheering on the black and yellow and in the meantime
help charity by participating in the annual beard-a-thon. All proceeds raised
help the Boston Bruins Foundation.
Red Sox are BACK
With Baseball season underway it’s time for the Red Sox to
play ball. In the season opener, the Boston Red Sox took on the Detroit Tigers
as Boston’s pitcher Jon Lester squared off on the mound against Detroit’s
Justin Verlander. Although baseball is not this bloggers favorite sport, it is
America pastime sport of choice so it’s only right that I incorporate some
statistics about the game.
The red sox struggled at the plate only posting 5 hits for
the entire game compared to Detroit’s 10. Not only did they post such low
hitting numbers, but superstars like Ellsbury and Youkilis went 0-4 and
neglected to help their team offensively. As you can imagine the game went very
slow and the first real action took place in the 7th inning when Detroit
scored the first run of the game off of a double.
Following the 7th inning, the Red Sox did not
score in the 8th however once again Detroit struck back scoring one
more run in the bottom of the 8th to take the lead 2-0. They scored
off a sacrifice fly to center field.
Going into the 9th it appeared that all was lost
for the Red Sox. Then David Ortiz had a sacrifice fly that helped Pedroia score
bringing the score to 2-1. Shortly after that, Ryan Sweeney hit a deep triple
that drove in the tying run before the top of the inning was over. With this
game being in Detroit, they had a chance to seal it in the bottom of the 9th
and that’s exactly what they did via a walk off hit to left field.
Now the Red Sox are 0-1 on the season as they move forward. Do
they have what it takes this year?

The following video is from Skyventure NH and shows two of our staffs best "free flyer's". I worked hand in hand with the production of this film and hope you all enjoy it as much as i do.
